Curtain Times

All performances begin ON TIME. Season performances in the Potter Rose Performance Hall are Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday evening at 7 p.m.; Friday and Saturday evening at 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.  Season performances in the Studio Theatre are Tuesday through Sunday evenings at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.  Performance times for A Christmas Carol and other events may vary.


What should I wear?

There is no dress code at the Dallas Theater Center.  Theatergoers wear everything from jeans to suits to the little black dress.

Seating Accessibility for Everyone

Dallas Theater Center is committed to making our performances accessible to the widest possible audiences. Both theaters are equipped to accommodate physically challenged patrons. Please call our Subscriber Courtesy Line at 214.252.3927 or the AT&T Performing Arts Center Box Office at 214.880.0202 to purchase accessible seating.


Does DTC have assistive listening devices

Assistive listening devices are available upon request at the Dallas Theater Center. Our state-of-the-art devices may be used by patrons to help enhance their enjoyment of the performance. Devices may be obtained at the box office before the show, and a driver's license will be held by the theater staff until the device is returned at the completion of the performance. For specific questions about the assistive listening devices, please call the AT&T Performing Arts Center Box Office at 214.880.0202.



Late Seating

Five minutes before curtain time, all available seats are released to Standby patrons. Should you arrive late to your scheduled performance, the House Manager will seat you at the first appropriate opportunity. Late Seating is at the discretion of the Patron Services Manager. If you are unable to take your assigned seat, please accept the seating available and take your ticketed seat at intermission.


Pay What You Can Performances

We offer patrons an opportunity to pay whatever they can afford for a ticket to select Preview Friday Evening performances. Subject to availability. Call our Subscriber Courtesy Line at 214.252.3927 for details.


Student Rush

We offer a special discount to students with a valid student ID one hour before each curtain. Subject to availability. Call our Subscriber Courtesy Line at 214.252.3927 for details.

  • To avoid long lines at intermission pre-order cocktails at concessions prior to the performance
  • Patrons are advised to arrive early for the best parking
  • The lobby opens one hour before the performance
  • Seating begins 30 minutes before curtain
  • Restrooms are located in the lobby.
  • Concessions are available in the lobby before the performance and during intermission
  • On non-performance dates, the Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. During performances, the Box Office is open through the first intermission.
